investing hope, shaping futures

"There is a clear need to provide workable and durable solutions for this group of children and young people (whether that involves long term stay in the UK or return to the country of origin) and Baca is a specialist in this particular area."

Rebuild

Rebuild – Who is it for?

Our Rebuild Programme has been specifically designed for Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children (UASCs) also collectively referred to as Separated Children Seeking Asylum. These young people have been age assessed to be between 16 and 18 years of age.

Since 2006 the Rebuild Programme has been used in partnership with young people from Afghanistan, China, Iraq, Iran, Eritrea, Albania, Palestine, Sudan, Morocco, Vietnam and Libya.

We are proud to have received endorsements for the Rebuild Programme from many partner organisations including the UK Border Agency and a portion of their acknowledgement of our work is featured.

Our increasing experience and continual critical assessment has resulted in us branding our service provision as ‘Rebuild’. For Baca the name ‘Rebuild’ is far more than just a word; Rebuild forms an acronym which is fundamental both to our day to day activity and our aspirations for each young person’.

Repairing damaged lives
Educating and equipping
Building bridges towards a better future
Understanding cultures
Integrating into society
Life skill development
Demonstrating positive values

Each aspect of this statement of intent is defined and represents practical applications within the Rebuild Programme.
