Welcome to the Passage schools roadshow. Hopefully our website will provide you with all the information you require.

Developed through Baca, Passage is our groundbreaking schools resource which uses the plight of forced migrants to highlight diversity, cohesion and belonging. Following a successful pilot event in conjunction with the Loughborough Learning Partnership and QCA in 2007 the ‘Passage Roadshow’ was launched.

We are pleased to offer a product which compliments and fulfills the Revised 2008 cross-curriculum elements of ‘identity and cultural diversity’, ‘community participation’ and ‘global dimension’.

Our one day event allows students to step into the shoes of an asylum seeker and experience the journey themselves, discovering what it means to leave all you have behind and how your identity is shaped by such transitions. Passage provides an insight into diversity within school and the local community and helps participants to understand some of the more complex and sensitive issues which surround forced migration.

Please explore our website further or get in touch with any questions about the project.

Thanks for reading!
